Set among the rolling hills of southern Tuscany, Castello di Velona offered the perfect setting for this elegant Jewish destination wedding in Italy. Surrounded by vineyards, historic architecture and breathtaking views over the Tuscan landscape, the celebration brought together timeless beauty, cultural tradition and refined design. 

Katya and Jared, a couple from California, met in the fast-paced rhythm of modern life. Yet when it came time to plan their wedding, their vision was clear: they wanted a celebration centred on love, shared with family and close friends in a setting that felt both intimate and extraordinary. 

The natural elegance of Tuscany became the ideal backdrop for their dream wedding. Inspired by the glamour of the 1960s, the aesthetic concept combined subtle references to Dior with the atmosphere of the iconic Italian venue Piper Disco, creating a unique dialogue between nostalgia and contemporary sophistication. 

The visual design of the wedding embraced a refined palette of white and gold, enhanced by delicate floral compositions that echoed the beauty of the surrounding landscape. Every element was curated to maintain a sense of harmony between the historic character of the castle and the elegant simplicity of the design. 

As the soft Tuscan afternoon light began to envelop the scene, the ceremony unfolded in an atmosphere that felt almost dreamlike. Guests were seated in a sea of white beneath a canopy of floating floral arrangements, creating the illusion of being surrounded by a soft cloud suspended above the ceremony space.
